Where to Walk

Participants in the Queensland Legal Walk 2025 are welcome to walk for pro bono day in any neighbourhood of their choice. However, planned Walks will take place in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast. Everyone is welcome to join!

Below, you'll find maps and details for all planned Walk routes. All Walks begin with arrival at 6:45am, with the walk commencing at 7am.

Arrive at 6.45am for a 7am start from the Supreme and District Court forecourt. The event will begin with a Welcome to Country, followed by a group photo, before we set off on a scenic loop around South Bank, returning to the forecourt for brief speeches.

Departs from the Funship Parkland, located at the north end of the Esplanade, for a return stroll along the Esplanade.

Departs from the Toowoomba Court House at 7am and loops around Queens Park Gardens, with coffee provided at the end of the Walk.

Departs from Flinders Square (corner of Stokes & Flinders Street), for a leisurely return stroll along the Strand, with coffee provided at the end of the Walk.

The Gold Coast Walk departs at the main entrance of the Southport Court House, where walkers will gather before setting off on a scenic route.

The walk follows a return loop down to the Sundale Bridge, along the beautiful Broadwater Parklands.

Departs from the corner of the Esplanade and Duporth Avenue in Maroochydore. The Walk curves around the coast to the Maroochydore Surf Club before looping back to the starting point, with coffee provided at the end.

Departs at 7am from the IGA Carpark for a return walk to the Beacon Road Lookout.

Walkers are welcome to join for a shared breakfast afterwards.
